The Dubai Mal is one of the most famous place for shopping in Dubai, so you should not be surprised to find us for another live customization. This time, it took place in the Montblanc corner of the Galerie Lafayette.
During 2 hours, our talented calligrapher was at the service of the customers for originals and unique customization.

With 800,000 square meters of retail space, the Dubai Mall is one of the largest shopping centers in the United Arab Emirates or even according to its promoters the largest shopping center in the world. Whether or not it occupies first place in this category, the Dubai Mall is in any case a must in the city and the region, especially for shopping addicts. Located at the foot of the Burj Khalifa, the mall has among the countless shops a local version of Galeries Lafayette that we know well. We find the same great brands as in the Paris version, in this case MONTBLANC invited us to come and customize parts of its new MONTBLANC Urban Spirit collection, but also at the same time the collection in partnership with the Unicef. Our artist took his markers, his brushes and his leather paint and moved to the Montblanc corner of the Galeries Lafayette in the Dubai Mall to spend a few hours at the disposal of the craziest requests and the most original customers and clients present that day.

Although our customizations are carried out directly under the eyes of the customers, our artists use tools of great precision in order to offer fine, elegant and precise lettering, to the height of the prestige and the quality of MONTBLANC. We use a specific paint for leather which match perfectly to the matter, dries very quickly and offers a high quality of pigments. We feels that the quality of rendering may be the best of the world for that king of use.

Most of the time MONTBLANC’s customers ask us to make initials either of their name, children, friends… but in some other cases we also offer the possibility of calligraphy of full names or phrases according to the availability of the artist and the expectation of other guests. In terms of style, there are two main variants for us : first of all, the « writing » style, which is very similar to calligraphy but with movements and influenced from graffiti writing, that brings modernity to the calligraphy. The other variant is more a drawing : simple letters with volume that is much closer to graffiti Art, more classic as what has been observed in the United States and the world is the last years.
